Ans. Integrated Child Development Services known as ICDS is one of the largest programs of the Government of India. It takes care of all the all round developmental needs of children who are below six years of age, pregnant women, lactating mothers, in the age group of 15-45 years, through Anganwadi centres.
Answer. A package of six services has been provided under ICDS. These are: supplementary nutrition, immunization, health screening, referral services, non-formal pre-school education, and nutrition and health education.
